Built with the hopes of becoming a new one design class that never caught on, Nantucket Splinter is a one of a kind boat. Very reminiscent of Scandinavian square meter boats the Splinter benefits from cold molded construction so you get all the classic looks without the maintenance headaches of a classic boat. Also fitted with a small single cylinder Yanmar inboard diesel engine you can easily get out to where the wind is and not worry about getting home if the wind runs out of puff. With a modern underbody she points well and is joy to sail.
She is currently being stored at the Mystic Seaport Museum in Mystic, Connecticut as a part of our Yachts on Exhibit program proceeds of the sale will go towards museum operations. More/detail pics are available upon request. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
